What's new in Coltop3D 1.8.3 ?
New file format
Coltop3D uses a new file format for point clouds, which leads to a very efficient memory management and point access to disk. The total number of points Coltop3D can handle is virtually unlimited.
Coltop3D can now import scalar fields, such as error or displacement values assigned to each point.
Importation is now optimized, thanks to a much faster normal computation algorithm. Huge data sets are imported in minutes instead of hours.

Innovative LIDAR Solutions Conference 2011
Terr@num exhibits its key product Coltop3D at the Innovative LiDAR Solutions Conference recently held in Toronto, Canada. In front of an international and professional audience, Coltop3D has been introduced with interest to structural geologists mainly attracted for its application in tunnels and quarries designs.
JRDN Day 2011
The 18th February, the JRDN (Natural Hazards meeting day) congress take place in Lausanne. More than 150 scientists gathered to discuss and exchange best practices. On this occasion, we held a booth for presenting Coltop3D to the meeting’s participants. A small video presenting the software’s key features was displayed and some test data to play with where also available upon request.
